This seagull appears to have been hooked by the remnants of a wayward cast on Wakefield Quay with no-one to release it back into the wild.
Meg seemed to taken by my shooting the snap so I've since got quite a collection of various avian demises.
None of them as highly strung as the seagull chappy, so I'm thinking that the former might even have been a suicide....

Goodness me..... To tell the truth, there was one on our driveway today when we left to come see you... I thought it might have been the neighbor's cat - the big black one.
